NEW AUTHORITIES WANT IT TO BE A REFERENCE ON THE PENINSULA

With the aim of increasing the love for our country, a few days ago the master lecture “Valdivia Housing: Methods for the investigation of the Ecuadorian Formative” was given by the archaeologist Jonathan Damp; who was responsible for several works in Real Alto, Loma Alta and the south of Manabí.

This talk was attended by students from higher education courses from some of the Peninsula's schools, as well as several actors from the cultural and scientific movement of the province.

According to Beatriz Lindao, the new Director of the Museum, this is the first of a series of conferences and workshops that the Museum will organize in order to bring the multipurpose room back to life through self-management.

He mentioned to us that what is coming in the short term are:
*Workshop on the benefits of Bailoterapia with the presence of Mariuxi Marmol and
*Talk on the “Role of women within the coastal family” (Special for Mother’s Day)
*Cronopio film cycles.

In our next deliveries we will be informing you about the events that take place there.
