TODAY I WAKE UP

Today I got up and hugged the earth,
thanking him for letting me live,
telling her that I will take good care of her,
until the end of the days of my life.

Today I got up and walked to the water,
to thank him for quenching my thirst,
that I will not let it end in the world,
so that we can give others something to drink.

Today I got up and kissed the wind,
promising that I won't let it get dirty,
Let no one change it for the sake of his own benefit,
not even for my own.

Today I woke up and looked at the warmth of the fire,
ensuring that I will not let it go extinct,
to give warmth to beings who are dying of cold,
and those to whom its light does not reach.

Today I woke up and gave thanks for life,
give thanks for walking on this planet,
give thanks for living in this wonderful house,
Thank you for letting me live on Earth.
