Thamè Teatro de Artesanos and Mauro Rojas, sponsored by INPC, are organizing a free workshop on mask design and construction that will take place this month in Guayaquil.
Participants will learn mask construction and design techniques, while simultaneously creating their own conceptual character. The workshop will end with the staging of a contemporary ritual and a multimedia museum exhibition.
The workshop is aimed at the general public interested in enriching their cultural knowledge, as well as people interested in creative work and plastic production.
The class schedule is from 15:00 to 18:00
The facilitators will be Julio Huayamave (Historical and cultural context of the masks) and Mauro Rojas (Graphic strategies for the construction of masks)
From February 24th to March 2nd there will be an open exhibition of the final works.
