1. Don't assume
Don't take anything for granted.
If you have any doubts, clarify them.
If you suspect, ask.
Assuming makes you invent incredible stories
that only poison your soul and have no foundation.

2. Honor your words
What comes out of your mouth is what you are.
If you do not honor your words, you are not honoring yourself;
If you do not honor yourself, you do not love yourself.
Honoring your words is honoring yourself,
It is being consistent with what you think and what you do.
You are authentic and it makes you respectable
before others and before yourself.

3. Always do your best
If you always do your best,
You will never be able to blame yourself for anything or regret anything.

4. Don't take ANYTHING personally
Not even the worst offense.
Not even the worst snub.
Not even the most serious wound.

According to Toltec tradition, putting into practice
These four agreements can change your life,
as long as you are impeccable about it.
To the extent that someone wants to hurt you,
To that extent, someone hurts himself.
But the problem is His, not yours.
Take advantage and make him think.
Taking into account these agreements,
No doubt our life will be simpler and more satisfying,
for ourselves and for other people who
surround us.

Thousands of years ago the Toltecs were known throughout southern Mexico as “women and men of knowledge.” Anthropologists have defined the Toltecs as a nation or a race, but in fact they were scientists and artists who formed a society to study and preserve spiritual knowledge and
practices of their ancestors.

The European conquest, coupled with an aggressive abuse of personal power by some apprentices, forced the naguals to hide their ancestral wisdom and maintain their existence in the dark. Fortunately, Toltec esoteric knowledge was preserved and transmitted from one generation to the next.
another by different lineages of naguals. Now, Dr. Miguel Ruiz, a nagual of the lineage of the Eagle Warriors, shares with us the profound teachings of the Toltecs.

“There is no reason to suffer. The only reason you suffer is because you demand it. If you look at your life you will find many excuses for suffering, but no valid reasons. The same applies to happiness. The only reason you are happy is because you choose to be happy. Happiness is a choice, and so is suffering.”
