Our grandparents tell that from the leafy tamarind trees that existed in that parish where the El Morro swamp is located, a widow in her mourning dress would emerge after midnight, dancing with quick steps, chasing the walkers of those places, who, when they tried to catch her, she would disappear as if by magic at an impressive speed.

It was incredible, because she never showed her face, she was crazy for having lost her husband.

Until someone, overcoming his fear, approached her without her noticing and removed her veil, but, surprise!, her face was a skull. From that time on, when she saw herself discovered, she never appeared in those parts again.
