My letter to the Earth.

Hello!, says this letter
that comes from the heart,
as a greeting to this beautiful planet
to whom I owe my life and love.

A round of applause to the air that lets me live,
as my life passes by,
to the land that feeds me
and to the water that quenches my thirst.

How are you? follow my letter,
to ask how your seas are,
How are your rivers and great glaciers,
how the wind blows, whether cold or warm,
whether clean or contaminated,
How is your land?
whether green or brown,
whether she is alive or lost her faith,
How is life on this earth?
If she is still healthy and very much alive
or sick in a death sentence.

What shall we do? I ask,
if we continue living as we have until now,
content with what we have
or fight for this crying planet
and that warns that we lose it,
if we move forward in progress
from a few friends
or return to earth
for our own benefit,
if you breathe black
or cleanse the soul,
if you hide the whole sky
or be able to see the stars calmly,
if you drink from the fountain of old age
or enjoy a postponed youth
if we continue in stupidity
or enjoy our beloved Earth.

See you soon! I say goodbye
sealing this writing,
calling on future generations,
trade a car for a bicycle,
regardless of any criticism,
Getting to know your home first
better than none,
take care of the water they drink,
for those who come behind.

I sign! with my own handwriting
this beautiful poem,
one more dedicated to my Land,
one more in protest,
because she can't speak,
but through me you will achieve it,
helping to rescue
water, air, earth
and everything that cannot be communicated
with their unconscious executioners,
self-proclaimed sapient.
