The National Risk Management Secretariat of Santa Elena invites the entire community to visit its recently inaugurated Permanent Risk Prevention Exhibition Center, which is located on the ground floor of the Citizen Service Center of Santa Elena (on the La Libertad-Salinas highway). The permanent exhibition is designed to be used as a tool of the Risk Management Secretariat, to disseminate information relevant to natural phenomena and how to prevent them from becoming disasters.

At this Permanent Exhibition Center, which is cordially attended by representatives of this Secretariat, visitors will have access to very complete and high-quality information on four fundamental axes: Tectonic plates (earthquakes), volcanoes, tsunamis, and other phenomena.

The information, which consists of specific large posters on each topic and 4 screens with videos, also has other elements that make it a very interactive experience. These elements include the implementation of 4 touch screen computers (the computer is easily controlled from the screen) from which visitors can check what they have learned during their tour, play interactive games, among other learning resources.

The other technological element is the short-term implementation of the room called "Epicenter," which has a capacity of 10 people per shift and in which an earthquake is simulated so that participants can interactively make decisions that could or could not save their lives during an earthquake.

The exhibition is complemented by paintings by children on the theme of the Center.

Let's visit the Permanent Exhibition with our families; someday this information could save our lives.
