The Parish of San Jos\u00e9 de Anc\u00f3n is the most important tourist region in the southern part of our province within the Spondyilus Route. Our people are proud of their centuries-old ancestral legacy, and treasure traditions from Ecuador's oil industry history, culture and history of many values reflected in their experiences, structures and nature, the ability to make crafts from their communities and to offer their hospitality to national and foreign tourists. <\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

Its tourist potential includes beaches, cliffs, <\/span>churches, c<\/span>heritage handles,<\/span> parks, squares, among others. The offer at local, national and international fairs for the exchange of negotiation between companies and authorities of tourist locations, with the aim of providing attention and getting people to visit our tourist parish in the province of Santa Elena. <\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

With the participation in the La Entrada 2011 Tourism Fair, held a few weeks ago, and knowing that it would be a success, Anc\u00f3n's tourism products were offered, as the stand was visited by many tourists and authorities. In this activity, Anc\u00f3n was awarded as the \u201cBest Tourist Stand in the Province of Santa Elena\u201d<\/div>\n

The upcoming declaration of Anc\u00f3n as a National Heritage Site will be a boost to the touristification project of Anc\u00f3n, with its crafts and its wonderful nature, in addition to its oil history, giving an international tourist enterprise and characterizing it as the oil capital of the Province of Santa Elena, being a legible icon of sports culture in various disciplines such as soccer, tennis, baseball, surfing, among others. It is necessary to continue working on proposals for sustainable and sustainable community development. <\/div>\n

These are the results of a team that also aims to demonstrate the strengths of total dedication, a sense of belonging, cultural identity, love for their homeland, and the desire to serve and contribute to the development of this town. <\/div>\n

San Jos\u00e9 de Anc\u00f3n is located in the Canton of Santa Elena in the parish of the same name. Settled on 400 hectares, spread among large green spaces, ravines and small plateaus, it has a dry climate, with an average annual temperature of 25 degrees Celsius.<\/div>\n

Anc\u00f3n recreates the atmosphere of a typical English town, in much of its urban area, the architecture of its buildings is from the third decade of the 20th century, houses, clubs, offices, educational centers, service buildings, were built with excellent quality wood, they constitute the only testimony of an era that marked the beginning of hydrocarbon exploitation in Ecuador since 1911.<\/div>\n
