Here is what he told us:<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">What is the Other Side of Art?&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">The Other Side of Art is an explosive mix of feelings, routine, expressions, protest, love and feelings that I live daily and is what I try to express through my work.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">In your works we can see aspects that seem from another world. What is Luiggi&#039;s vibration during his artistic production?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">I try to concentrate and express myself through many forms, elements and gestures; and to achieve this I combine many techniques.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">What are your favorite techniques at the moment?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">I think it&#039;s a mix of street art, engravings, cartoons.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">What goes through Luiggi&#039;s mind when making his graphics?&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">I try to add a bit of surrealism to my drawings. Regarding the oil issue in particular, I try to show all the negative and devastating consequences that come from the oil industry (deforestation, displacement, death of nature); because the only good thing about oil is the economic part.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">Speaking about a topic a little closer to home for the people of Guayaquil, what do you think of the groups that are fighting for the rescue of the Estero Salado?&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">The Estero Salado and the fight to rescue it is a very interesting topic. It is nice to see how little by little more people are joining in. I think it is possible to rescue it; therefore we should all support these actions, because the Estero is ours and we have neglected it for too many years.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">How do you see your colleagues&#039; activism in relation to social action?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">I think that many people are already speaking out, even overcoming the repression that exists against some artists. It is good to see others working also for the resistance that we offer and the desire to continue expressing our points of view.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">In three words, what are your inspirations when creating?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">Well, although it may sound ironic, first of all I think it is the problems that arise every day; then&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">the desire that young people put into expressing what they live or feel and thirdly&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">the diversity of the country expressed through figures, sculpture, painting, dance, etc.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">What do you expect from your participation in this Resiste Sarayacu Fest?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">This event is important for people in the cities to be aware of the issue, as it is easy to see that many have not even been informed.
