style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">A group of activists, students and young people from the city of Guayaquil interested in the Sarayaku case are beginning to group together and carry out support actions, especially in terms of disseminating the current situation of the case and the possible repercussions that the ruling of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights may have in our country; because they consider that it is a situation that &quot;affects us directly, since the land of the Sarayaku community is one of the few virgin sectors left in the jungle that has not been touched by the oil companies.&quot;<\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">&nbsp;For this reason, on Saturday, August 6, they began informational actions in a sector of the city, so that people in the streets would be interested and informed about what is really happening in the Ecuadorian East, a topic that, in the opinion of several activists, has not been sufficiently disseminated by the media; for this, they held a sit-in where they placed maps and posters about the Sarayacu case and informed people who were interested when passing by the place where the activity was held.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">Erin Lurrain, one of the participants, believes that although there were few participants in this first action in the city of Guayaquil, the event was a success, &quot;we were able to perceive that our Guayacan community is NOT indifferent to the painful situation in which the Amazonian people survive&quot; and she thanked all the people who came and who were willing to inform themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: large;\">Liluana Gm, another of the participants, anticipated that they will continue to carry out informational actions on this cause in the following weeks, in addition to increasing their presence as cyberactivists on social networks and she is convinced that people will continue to join the cause and stay informed about what is happening in the Sarayaku case, since
