It was perhaps the first of its kind worldwide and represents, in the opinion of several businessmen and the organizers themselves, perhaps the greatest success of CIMA&#039;s progress. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 5px;\">\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Gustavo Manrique, President of the Summit, said: &quot;The holding of this Environmental Tax Forum alone has justified all the effort and attention we have devoted to it.&quot;<br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 5px;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><br \/>Fiscal policies, tax incentives and green taxes were discussed. According to the economist Carlos Marx, director of the SRI, bad environmental practices should be punished. <\/p>\n<p>For 4 days, at the Guayaquil Convention Center, there was constant emphasis on the need to promote Green Businesses and to achieve this, it is essential that these businesses enjoy tax incentives for the application of good environmental practices in companies and consumers. Greenwashing should not be a fad or just an external image for companies.
