In the Posorja parish, the following story happened:<\/p>\n

At a point on Posorja beach called La Poza, they say that a priest from the San Francisco Church, due to the hot weather, decided to take a bath. Those who witnessed what happened were surprised to see that he never came out of the water again. Some time after this event, a ship called Viking I was shipwrecked due to an inexplicable swell that occurred for no reason in that same area.
<\/span>
The pool had been a distraction for the parish, but with these events, no one wanted to visit it anymore.<\/span>

<\/span>
One day, a girl went underwater in this place and found a small image of the Virgin of the Sea in the sand. A friend who was with her went underwater in search of something similar. After a while, the girl's terrifying and heartbreaking scream was heard, as her leg had been severed by what she described as a giant fish.<\/span>

<\/span>
National and foreign divers have tried to find the bottom of La Poza without success. Some say they have seen a large sleeping animal at the bottom whose eye is the size of a person.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is said that the pool has underwater communication with the San Francisco church and that if there were an earthquake, it would completely collapse.<\/span>

<\/span>
In 1994, there were strong hurricane winds, which, when they retreated, revealed the immense hole in which "El Mero" lives. On that occasion, the Viking II sank, so the story of this gigantic animal is that it lives on this beach to this day.<\/span>
