Increasingly, in our country, there is a growing trend among both those offering products and consumers to increase the value given to issues of social and environmental responsibility.
During the First Seminar on Green Strategies for Grey Markets, organized by AGEARTH (Ecuador) in the middle of this year in the city of Guayaquil, some interesting data were presented for analysis, both for entrepreneurs and for the consumer public.
For example:
71% % of companies in Ecuador acknowledge having allocated budgets to green issues.
30% of managers of these national companies acknowledge having carried out green actions or investments in Ecuador in recent months.
8% of Ecuadorian consumers believe that there are companies committed to green issues.
79% of Ecuadorian consumers say that they do something for the environment.
92% of Ecuadorian consumers do not believe that there are companies committed to the environment.
