Ecuadorian writer Aminta Buenaño recently presented 3 of her literary works: Divine women, The discreet charm of the everyday and The other skin through the Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana (CCE) that have been reissued by this institution, since they were out of stock nationwide.

According to the writer, Divine women and The other skin  They are "books that have women as main characters: living their sensuality, facing the challenges of everyday life, with the conflicts and traditions of wanting to be and of society, a bit, suffocating them. They are stories that explore the dream world, the erotic, the struggle for love, heartbreak, contradictions. They are testimonies of events in the life that women live."

Several of the stories included in the latter have won awards in literary competitions such as the National Short Story Contest, organized by the newspaper El Universo, and the First Ecuadorian Short Story Biennial. Some of them have even been translated into Italian and French.

The discreet charm of the everyday is a selection of opinion articles that were once published by Diario El Universo. It is an invitation to reflect on life: on how important it is to enjoy the day to day and learn to value the usual, what we have at our fingertips, that which often goes unnoticed and which, however, is a fundamental part of our existence.

Aminta Buenaño has dedicated herself to university teaching, social communication, politics and literature. As a National Assembly member, in 2008, she participated in the drafting of the Constitution of Ecuador, and as a writer she has also published: “La mansion de los sueños”, “Virgen de medianoche”, and “Declaración de amor a Guayaquil”.
