Denmark will be the first country in the world to have 100% organic agriculture by law.

The Danish government wants its country to have fully sustainable agriculture and to achieve this it will transform all of its production into organic agriculture.

To achieve this, they are setting goals, the first being to double the current amount of organically cultivated land by 2020. After that year, they will invest more than 53 million euros to further expand organic farming.

Denmark is currently the country with the greatest development and scope of trade in organic products.

This Nordic country has had laws protecting nature, water and the use of organic agricultural products for 25 years now, and it is estimated that 97% of the population of that country knows their meaning and importance.

Today, the country is acting on two fronts: the first is to increase the amount of agricultural land that uses organic farming and the second is to stimulate greater demand for products of proven organic and sustainable origin.

With the first targets achieved, the Danes will offer up to 60% of organic food to schools, canteens and hospitals.

Another change will be at the school level, with the inclusion of courses on nutrition, healthy eating and natural agriculture.

A good example!
