With the participation of more than 40 people, most of them members of the Hermandad Juvenil Solidaria but also with the assistance of people from the community of Ballenita, the cleaning minga was carried out yesterday from 9 in the morning and lasted for more than an hour in the beach sector. A large amount of garbage was removed and classified. Plastic and glass bottles and ice cream wrappers were the main waste found, but also a considerable amount of materials used by fishermen such as nets and even an anchor.
The Hermandad Juvenil Solidaria (Youth Solidarity Brotherhood) were the ones who organized this event in which with great joy and energy this group of young people left the beach as it should always be: CLEAN.
We invite everyone to visit this and other beaches to be aware of the importance of keeping them clean.
